| ...Life isn't ALWAYS the greatest. My advice: roll with your punches.
Sometimes... I guess we've gotta do what we've gotta do. More often than not, it's gonna hurt, no matter what it is... but it is what it is. And what it is, is a situation that's beyond your control; beyond anyone's control. It's one of those occasions when out of nowhere, you're confused. And every way out of the problem feels like it'd hurt.
And it's true, it does hurt. But in the end, it's a solution either way. In the end. Anyone who claims that life is always easy is dead wrong. Face it: you're gonna encounter conflict regardless of how good things might be at one given moment. The only thing you can do is fight through it and get back to good. You'll get there, in the end, don't doubt that. Life isn't a straight line.
Please keep in mind, too... things aren't always what they seem. I say this in regards to good things, and bad things. What might seem like a perfect situation might be a cover... might be poised to fall at any given moment. But in the same respect, what might seem like the worst situation ever might bring about good things, too. The road might be long; but nobody said it wouldn't have its ups now and then.
Again.. all you can do is cope, and hope. Deal with what's hitting you right now as best you can, and have faith in the fact that things will get better if you try. But you DO have to try... if you're in the middle of a dangerous intersection, you don't just stop and park your car then and there.. you look for the best, safest exit. Catch my drift?
And let me tell you; you need to believe things will get better. It's called "self-fufilling prophecy." When if you believe in something so much, in your own eyes, it will become true. You need to stay as positive as you can... if you do, positive things will happen.
And finally... don't live in fear of your past. Take it from me: there are some things too good to give up entirely. Don't give up on people that you've had one or two painful experiences with. If you share a truly priceless friendship, you'll be able to fight through it. Don't think that the past is uneraseable. Forgive, forget, and enjoy.
Don't get me wrong here though. It's still gonna hurt sometimes.. you might wonder what happenned; where it went; what went wrong; why it had to happen to you. But if you can live by anything above... it'll be far, far easier. Trust me.

| Sometimes... life is just surreal.
Sometimes it's like a vivid dream. Everything you feel, every word you hear, every sight you see feels.. almost hazy. All the sounds of the world make an intricate pattern so easy on the ears that you feel as if you could gently fade to sleep at any moment. And above all, you hope you never have to wake up.
Surreal... like it really is too good to be true. Like you're being teased with all this happiness.. and that it should be yanked away from you by the rude sound of an alarm clock. Like maybe the light of day will interrupt all this happiness that you don't usually know so fondly. But the sun DOESN'T wake you up.. and the alarm clock doesn't go off.
You feel like maybe you should be asking yourself, "What did I do to deserve all this?"... but you don't. Because the moment is too good to question. Life is too good to question.
I think what I'm trying to say is that there are these surreal times in life.. times that feel like a dream. But there are also times that are more like nightmares. Life doesn't ALWAYS seem so great. But it's too short to waste feeling ashamed, searching for pity. The only thing you can do is know that that nightmare you're feeling right now... will become that dream one day... as long as you want it.
And if you do want it, and keep your head towards the sky... and gently fade off into sleep one given night... you just might find yourself in the midst of one of the greatest dreams you've ever had before you know it.
And that dream will be playing out.. no, not when you're asleep.. but in broad daylight. It doesn't get much more amazing than that... trust me.

| ...There are times in our lives when everything... is completely indescribable.
These times when one person in life can give you this shiver... a little chill of pure emotion. And let me tell you right now; that's a good shiver.
That one person that can make you stop in your tracks. Mention of her name makes your heart skip a beat. You find yourself smiling without noticing. When you see her, suddenly... any other problem or conflict in life becomes petty and useless... the joy of seeing her overpowers all other feeling entirely. She can make everything right.
The one person, who, when she smiles at you... when you get a chance to look into her eyes... makes you feel perfect. What she does to you is like what a little rain does to withering ground... it gives it life. She gives you life.
And that one person makes you feel like you're the luckiest person to ever walk this earth, just because you got the chance to meet her in the first place. Being graced with her presence is better than any other feeling. Just the thought of her can light up your day. She means everything to you.
And she's the one person you trust with everything you have. She knows you like the back of her hand, and you know her like the back of your hand. You can tell her anything; you can vent, you can cry, you can laugh, you can just TALK to her.. and you know she'll listen. She's the best friend you have.
And when one person can make everything right... give you life... mean everything to you... and through it all, be the best friend you have...
You've stumbled upon a feeling that cannot be summed up into any words. Human lips can't describe that sort of emotion, the feeling that you get when you see her. You can only feel it. You can sleep well on the fact that you would give up your world to be with this girl.
Because when you can feel that way about one person...
You may have just become the luckiest man alive, just to be able to call her yours.
Indescribable...
